Africa Drive is a renovation of an existing property in Lancaster. Above all the aim on this job was to give a modest size house a luxury feel. With this in mind Garofoli products were specified throughout.
Project Details – Africa Drive
One of the major aims on this project was to get more light into the hallway. Therefore we chose glass doors for the kitchen door, kitchen fixed panel and living room door. Furthermore these doors are a feature and need to look and feel luxurious. Consequently Garofoli BiGlass from the BiSystem range was selected. BiGlass is an aluminium profile with glass bonded to both sides running edge to edge. This construction method gives the door an exclusive feel. A hinged door with timber frame for the kitchen with matching fixed panel and sliding door without frame for the living room. The flush Playa handle works with both door types and gives continuity.
The solid doors are a Miraquadra 1L in a matt white finish. Due to the plainness of the door it’s the lustre of the finish that contributes to the door’s luxury feel. In addition; draught seals, magnetic latch and concealed hinges give an all round high-end feel. In contrast to the white the black Area 51 handles pop on the doors and give continuity to the black on the BiGlass.
Lakes Doors Architectural installed Garofoli Boiserie wall panelling in the living room. The Grey Oak finish adds warmth and character to the room. Matching shelves and Deltalight wall lights complement the wall panels them selves at Africa Drive to create the boiserie system. In addition to shelves other complements are available such as lighting, cupboards and drawers.
Full height Miria cupboard doors cover the existing boiler. As with the Miraquadra the Miria doors have the matt white finish. Throughout the house is Garofoli skirting again in matt white to match all the door frames.
Africa Drive is currently for sale on Rightmove.
