Luxury contemporary wall panelling in oak veneer, fluted oak, smooth painted, laminate or glass finishes.
Contemporary Wall Panelling
Certainly contemporary wall panelling or boiserie gives a luxury feel to any modern home. Moreover it adds texture, interest and colour. Coupled with doors, cupboards or shelving for greater effect.
Of course the most popular and with a natural beauty. Furthermore timber adds warmth. Available as oak veneer or fluted oak, stained or painted. Indeed, these types can be mixed or kept uniform. In either case a striking look is achieved. There are 2 versions of the oak panelling; fixed sizes or purpose made.
Fixed Sizes – Specifically this gives the grooved pattern seen in many of the contemporary wall panelling images above. 3 panels lengths are available. Coupled with 1 fixed height. Additionally mixed panel lengths are possible. Equally important to the panels themselves is the colour. In brief: Stained oak, open pore oak, smooth painted matt, smooth painted gloss. See an example with fixed sizes.
Purpose Made Sizes – In contrast to the fixed sizes have a tight joint without the grooved profile. Another difference is the choice of vertical grain in oak finishes. Only horizontal grain is available with fixed sizes. Furthermore as every panel is bespoke, the fit will be perfect. See an example with purpose made sizes
Laminate contemporary wall panelling offers a hardwearing alternative to timber. Most noteworthy are the Malta finishes. Convincingly they give the appearance of hard materials such as concrete, cement or micro-cement. Additionally various timber effect finishes are also available. Unlike the timber finishes laminate is only available in purpose made sizes.
Certainly the most exclusive of the boiserie finishes. Glass gives a very luxurious feel. Also glass is available in 2 textures; polished and matt. Moreover any RAL colour is possible. As well as exclusive marble effects.
